Q: How long does the hiring process take?

A: Once the applicant has been contacted by our hiring managers, the hiring process can take anywhere from 3 days to a week and a half. This time frame is dependent on the background, drug screen, and any corrections that need to be made. Please note that this time frame can be reduced if the application is filled out completely and correctly before submission to Human Resources.



Q: Is a background check and drug screen required?

A: If you are placed to work at an account that requires this in the contract, then yes, it is required. A refusal of either the background or drug test will result in a termination of the hiring process. If you are contacted by hiring manager, ask them if either a drug test or a background are required.



Q: What kind of jobs does United offer?

A: United has a variety of different jobs offered; Janitorial, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Cabin Cleaning, Trade Shows, and Security to name a few. Not all of our locations offer every job.

Q: Is there an age requirement to work for the company?

A: Yes, you must be 18 years old in order to work with United Services.


Q: How long is my application valid?

A: If you have filled out an application in the past year, your information is still considered up to date and there is no need for a new application, unless you are applying for a different position. If you have changed any information such as your contact number, please call the Corporate office to update.
