Solid-Concentrate
Download in MS Word Format
Description
Packaged in a stick form, designed to eliminate messy liquid additions to water systems. Solid-Concentrate CPEN-C is a cooling system dispersant and penetrant, which assists in the prevention and removal of organic materials & foulants. This product was designed to supplement cooling system inhibitor/dispersants & biocides to maintain clean surfaces in heat transfer equipment and cooling systems. CPEN-C penetrates the matrix of organic deposits which then sloughs off and disperses. It also functions as a general corrosion inhibitor & cleaner for heavily fouled systems. Use should be in conjunction with biocides to assist in maintaining a clean system.

Application/Feedrate
CPEN-C should be fed at a rate of 60-120 ppm( 1 stick per 1,000 gallons system volume ) to maintain already clean surfaces, 1-3 times per week. For systems that have a greater tendency to foul, feed at a rate of 100-200 ppm( 2 sticks per 1,000 gallons of system volume ), 2-3 times per week. To clean heavily fouled systems, feed at a rate of 100-200 ppm( 2 sticks per 1,000 gallons of system volume ) daily, until clean. Always feed a biocide to kill bacteria & algae in the system. Care should be taken, when cleaning, to prevent clogging of screens and strainers in heavily fouled systems when applying this product. NOTE: This product may cause foaming when fed at high levels.
