Solid form, oxygen scavenger
 
Function
B-S-C is a proprietary boiler water treatment containing decharacterized sodium sulfite and soium lignosulfate. It reduces the potential for oygen corrosion in boiler water systems. All components conform to FDA Title 21, Section 173 Boiler Water Additives. B-S-C is a NSF (Old USDA) approved product.
 
Application/Feedrate
Fed at 25 ppm, 1 lb of product treats approximately 40,000 lbs of boiler blowdown.( depending upon the amount of oxygen being removed mechanically ). 1 case (50 lbs) is equivalent to 30 gallons of a conventional liquid product (approximately 300 lbs). Liquid equivalent comparative values will vary, dependent upon concentration
 
Testing & Control
Sulfite: 20 - 60 ppm
 
Feeding
Feed product from a Product Dissolution Board or similar system/board.
 
Packaging/Storage/Handling
Packaged in 4 x 1 gallon containers per case. Case weighs 50 lbs. Follow MSDS directions. Properly stored product will remain effective 24 - 36 months. Store in cool, dry area.
